Challenge

The goal was to evolve an established industrial brand without losing its heritage. RS Traut wanted a clear and recognizable visual identity that could be applied across digital and physical environments while preserving the trust built over decades. The main challenge was to create a brand mark that expresses precision and direction – echoing the company’s core business of bending and forming metal tubes to exact specifications. The new identity needed to convey structure, rhythm, and continuity, much like the production processes themselves.

The new corporate design builds on the previous brand’s foundations and turns them into a coherent, future-oriented system. The logo mark, inspired by the geometry of tube bending, introduces a dynamic arrow form symbolizing movement, accuracy, and progress. A reduced color palette of dark navy, technical grey, and signal orange communicates strength and confidence while maintaining industrial clarity.

Typography and grid systems were designed to emphasize order and precision, mirroring the company’s engineering standards. Across applications – from stationery and packaging to digital touchpoints and factory branding – the new visual identity delivers consistency and clarity.

The result is a modern industrial brand that stands for precision, expertise, and reliability. RS Traut now presents itself as a forward-thinking engineering partner with a clear visual language that reflects both its technical excellence and its collaborative spirit.
